INTERNAL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY VIA MYSELF
Working as part of the Community Learning and Development (CLD) team, you will be required to deliver community-based English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programmes with groups of adults, including learners supported through resettlement programmes. Along with colleagues, you will help to develop appropriate sessions to enable learners to progress in their writing, speaking and reading of English, while supporting the CLD locality team in the delivery of the core functions of Community Learning and Development.
You must have relevant qualifications at SCQF level 5 and above and experience of community-based work with adults and ESOL.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have knowledge of current ESOL developments, good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The successful candidates will be expected to work 10 hours per week across various locations in North Lanarkshire. The CLD Support Worker will be line managed by a CLD Worker within the locality team.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting this post.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
