Role - Sales Operations Administrator Location - Manchester Setup - Hybrid Salary - £25,000 D.O.E Are you a detail-oriented and organised professional looking to play a pivotal role in a dynamic sales team? As a Sales Operations Administrator within our I T Managed Services organisation, you will provide essential support to ensure seamless operations, streamlined processes, and efficient management of sales data, tools, and reporting. Your contributions will directly enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the sales function, enabling our sales representatives and managers to focus on building relationships, closing deals, and achieving revenue goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Support and Administration: Manage sales documentation, such as quotes, proposals, contracts, and service agreements. Assist sales representatives in preparing and processing bids, RFP responses, and other client-related documents. Serve as a point of contact for administrative tasks related to the sales process, ensuring compliance with company policies. 2. CRM and Data Management: Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate customer information, sales activities, pipeline data, and account details. Ensure data cleanliness and integrity to support accurate forecasting and reporting. Generate reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics for management review. 3. Order Processing and Billing Coordination: Handle order entry, ensuring that customer orders are accurately recorded in the system. Coordinate with finance and billing teams to ensure invoices are generated and sent to clients on time. Track the status of orders and manage communications with clients regarding delivery time lines or issues. 4. Reporting and Analytics: Create and distribute sales performance reports, including revenue forecasts, win/loss analysis, and pipeline health. Analyse sales data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to the sales leadership team for strategic decision-making. 5. Sales Process Optimisation: Assist in the development and documentation of standardised sales processes and work flows. Identify inefficiencies in the sales process and recommend improvements. Train team members on new tools, processes, or updates to the sales platform. 6. Tool and Technology Management: Manage and support sales tools, such as CRM software, proposal tools, and analytics platforms. Coordinate with IT to resolve technical issues and implement enhancements to sales systems. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing to ensure sales teams have access to up-to-date materials, collateral, and leads. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions for new accounts and service activation's. Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and finance to ensure alignment on priorities and goals. 8. Contract and SLA Oversight: Maintain records of client contracts, including renewals, expiration dates, and SLA agreements. Notify sales teams of upcoming contract renewals or opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling. Skills and Competencies: 1. Attention to Detail: Precision in managing data, documents, and processes to avoid errors and ensure smooth sales operations. 2. Organisational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively. 3. CRM Proficiency: Expertise in using CRM platforms (e.g., PSA Autotask) and other sales-related tools. 4. Analytic Skills: Ability to interpret sales data and generate insights that support decision-making. 5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with teams and preparing reports. 6. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Managed Services offerings to understand the products and services being sold. 7.
