A unique opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join a privately owned Bespoke Builder based in Liverpool.
Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be involved in all aspects of building the sales and marketing department.
We are looking for an experienced New Build Sales Consultant looking to progress to the next stage of their career or an Experienced Sales Manager who is looking for a new challenge.
Developments vary in terms of houses, with prices from £250k to over £1.4 Million – they currently have 4 schemes and are now in a position to bring the sales and marketing in-house.
About the role:
Manage performance for the successful delivery of all outright sales, achieving budgeted income within budgeted cost levels ensuring gross margin on turnover target achieved monthly, quarterly, and annually. Managing and progressing the marketing process of outlets via marketing consultants, designers, and advertising companies. Updating and taking ownership of the company website and sales and marketing information. Maximise all sales leads with internal and external sales teams, manage their conversion rate targets and ensure profit generation from the sale of homes through creating site-specific effective sales strategies.
The ideal candidates will have the following skills/understanding:
* New Build Housing Background
* A collaborative and transparent working style.
* Possess a “can do” attitude.
* Take and distribute sales build update minutes.
* An understanding of the corporate environment and the ability to contribute to the organisation’s corporate vision and strategy through detailed multi-site management.
* Demonstrable commercial acumen and experience of sales essential in either the private or ‘Affordable’ housing sectors – and ideally both.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Motivational and supportive management experience and ability to develop and ‘grow’ sales executives.
* Good market analysis, financial and budgeting skills.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Target and results-oriented ambition.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to play a senior role in the effective operations of the sales team.
* Impetus to ensure the organisation’s reputation is enhanced at every opportunity.
* Must hold a full clean driver’s licence and be willing to travel. Developments are in Cheshire, Merseyside, and Lancashire.
