Job Title: Head of Sales - North
Location: Hybrid - Manchester (office-based & remote working)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + OTE £35,000 - £45,000
Our client is a Premium furnishing service provider for Estate agents, investors, property developers, and other residential property providers across the UK, including build-to-rent developers, student accommodation, and care home providers. They have been at the forefront of this sector for the past 20 years, operating at the intersection of B2B & B2C, service & retail.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Sales - North to lead their sales operations across the North of the UK, with a focus on achieving a £6m revenue target, growing to £10m within the next 2-3 years. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced sales leader to manage a high-performing team, drive business growth, and play a pivotal role in our national sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Growth: Lead the sales function to achieve and exceed revenue targets, optimising sales processes and increasing overall sales productivity.
2. Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and develop a team of Business Development Managers and Inside Sales Representatives, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed.
3. Sales Strategy Implementation: Work closely with the Head of Sales - South to execute and refine the national sales strategy, aligning regional activities with company objectives.
4. Sales Conversion: Oversee the management of incoming sales leads, ensuring efficient conversion into sales and maximising upsell opportunities.
5. Margin Control: Maintain a strong focus on profitability, ensuring revenue growth does not compromise margins.
6. Performance Management: Set clear KPIs, track team performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
7. Market Intelligence: Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, using insights to enhance the sales approach.
8. Collaboration & Communication: Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer support to ensure the sales team has the necessary resources and support.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience as a senior sales leader, with a track record of successfully driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience developing high-performing sales teams.
3. Excellent understanding of sales strategy, customer acquisition, and upselling techniques.
4. Solid knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM systems.
5. Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business.
6. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
7. Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. Experience in managing a regional sales team and achieving large-scale revenue targets is highly desirable.
