This full-time role of Sales & Marketing Executive reports directly to the Sales & Commercial Director and is within the Sales department. This position is based in our mill in the rolling hills of Bath. It supports an international Sales & Commercial team, managing internal and external communications, and handling social media channels. The role includes some exciting travel opportunities for global conferences and event organisation. We’re ideally seeking someone with experience in marketing, business, or media who is dynamic, confident, and eager to grow within the company but will also consider you if you are early in your career and have a desire and passion for marketing and communications.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the sales of Portals security paper products within the Identity and Security Documents sector, managing the administration of accounts and the marketing requirements of the wider sales team and business.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Managing individual sales accounts, building long-standing relationships and ensuring dynamic, out of the box thinking to support customer requirements.
2. Develop and agree with the Sales & Commercial Director, upselling strategies for existing accounts and supporting the wider sales team with preparation of quotations and other admin tasks, where required.
3. Working alongside the New Production Introduction team (including design), to manage product enquiries and orders alongside Portals capabilities.
4. Build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation to support the mobilisation of resources when opportunities become orders.
5. Managing the marketing requirements of the business, including building market infographics.
6. Managing the website and act as the main point of contact for conference support etc.
7. Contribute to the sales and operations management review with the business process team.
8. Contribute to accurate forecast management.
9. Provide Product Marketing with market intelligence on customers and competitor activity in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience
1. The very nature of this role is to develop the right candidate into the sales and commercial environment, so character is the determining factor.
2. Language skills and experience within the security document industry is an advantage, but not essential.
3. Experience within marketing and/or administrative tasks.
4. Full, clean driving license desirable – or capability to travel.
