Description Provide strong leadership to ensure compliance with all safe working, food safety, and operational standards. Take responsibility for the shift operation, setting and surpassing targets and KPIs, and ensuring smooth shift-to-shift handover. Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational targets. Support the Operations Manager by providing reliable and accurate information and analysis of shift performance. Develop analytical skills from data analysis to root cause analysis during accident/incident investigations. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills, motivation, and job satisfaction. Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback, recognition, and constructive guidance. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, ensuring that all team members are treated with respect and professionalism. Identify and provide opportunities for training and development to enhance the capabilities of the team. Manage and resolve conflicts within the team, promoting effective collaboration and cooperation. Profile Proven experience as a Warehouse Shift Manager, preferably in food distribution Strong ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service. Previously managed teams of 20 individuals In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety, as well as Food Safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
