Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum. This includes 28 days holiday, including bank holidays, as well as three volunteering days and three days grandparent leave. We also offer 24 weeks of enhanced maternity leave and pension and life insurance. Furthermore, you will have access to our HAPI app for discounts on high street shops, holidays, cinema, and more.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic culinary leader to join our team as a Senior Sous Chef at Stowe School in Buckingham. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include menu development, quality assurance, team development, and event catering. You will work in a stunning setting, delivering outstanding meals to our vibrant school community.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a seasoned culinary professional with a passion for leading teams and creating exceptional dining experiences. You should have proven experience in a high-quality kitchen, ideally with a background as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef. A natural leader with excellent organisational skills and a commitment to culinary excellence is essential.
