Job Description Civil Engineer - Water and Wastewater Treatment Our client, a leading Civil Engineering consultancy based in Northern Ireland, is actively seeking Civil Engineers to join their Public Health Team in Belfast. This multi-disciplinary team is engaged in a variety of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects across long-term engineering frameworks with utility companies throughout the UK and Ireland. Role Overview: The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of energy-efficient and cost-effective projects at various stages of the lifecycle, including feasibility, outline design, and detailed design. Key Responsibilities: Design of water and wastewater treatment works and pumping stations. Design of water mains and sewerage infrastructure, including pipework layouts and schedules. Conducting feasibility reports, outline and detailed design. Performing hydraulic analysis. Preparing project specifications using both standard and in-house specifications. Managing projects, including contract administration. Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, including the preparation of Design Risk Assessments and Design Management Plans. What We Are Looking For: Engineers with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience. Self-motivated individuals who are flexible and possess strong communication skills.
