Head of Property Services - 9 Month Fixed Term - £87,
We are recruiting for a Head of Property for a 9 month fixed term contract covering the North Region and Central London area. In this role you will be responsible for providing the day to day delivery of property services across North and Central London. Leading a team of professionals from across property related disciplines, you will work in collaboration with colleagues to ensure regional property needs are being promoted, planned and delivered to obtain great customer outcomes.
You will lead delivery a team of surveying and technical advisory services alongside project management of complex cases and legal disrepair across the property portfolio. To be successful you will to be able to demonstrate that you are an accomplished manager able to support the in house and external supply chain deliver repairs, voids and complex works.
You will act as the single point of accountability for property matters across MTVH with housing, development and care and support colleagues, ensuring the delivery of property services in region offer demonstrable value for money and manage the complex relationships that exist though first class stakeholder management and customer engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Success in working in a senior property operational role in an organisation of similar size and complexity
2. Expertise in contract management and providing effective client management of multi-year contracts
3. Experience of applying commercial awareness to property maintenance
4. A track record of translating technical expertise in to practical and deliverable output
5. Expertise in managing property assets in a public-sector or regulated environment
6. Good knowledge of relevant property legislation, regulation and best practice
7. Expertise in building effective teams and leading professional staff
