We have an exciting opportunity for an Health Improvement Practitioner to join our team at Abronhill Health Centre and Rutherglen Primary Care Centre
To assist in the development and delivery of Health Promotion activities with the overall aim of improving health and reducing health inequalities in line with Scottish Executive priorities and local priorities and needs.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
2. At least experience of working in health promotion or a relevant health/health improvement related discipline.
3. Experience in working in one relevant, specific topic or skill-based area e.g. with young people, mental health, physical activity, nursing, community development, training, research.
4. Understanding of the health improvement policy agenda.
5. Project management skills.
6. Partnership working, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
7. Training, facilitation and group work skills.
8. Good written and verbal communication skills.
9. Research and evaluation skills.
10. Organisational and time-management skills.
11. IT skills.
12. Current driving licence.

1 X 18.5 Hours Will be Base Rutherglen Primary Care Centre
Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
