The role is available for immediate starts or upcoming Easter term, actively seeking professionals who are willing to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a successful SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be providing tailored support to students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), L earning Difficulties, ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. This role offers you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children, providing them with the support they need to succeed in their education and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs. Assist with classroom tasks and ensure student engagement in lessons. Help students build confidence and independence, while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. Implement strategies for the emotional, social, and academic development of students. Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to monitor and report on student progress. Essential Requirements: Right to work in the UK. Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN. Previous experience in an educational or similar setting is desirable, especially in assisting SEN students. Knowledge of SEN, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or other learning needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Enhanced Child or Child and Adult Workforce DBS on the update service portal; or willingness to obtain one through Guardian Selection Limited’s uCheck associations, or externally (requiring online subscription for update service eligibility) Why Choose GSL Education?
