Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
A 60-year-old female living in the Bromsgrove area is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to work on a casual basis to provide support to access the local community, attend any health appointments, shopping & meal preparation, and light housework duties.
Our client has Multiple Sclerosis and several other health issues and is a wheelchair user. Our client lives with her Husband and their dog and enjoys going out walking the dog, cooking, and spending time with the family.
Main duties:
Social duties
keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
access the local community
attend medical appointments
do hobbies such as dog walking
Personal care, provide support and encouragement with all personal care.
Domestic duties, support with grocery shopping, cooking, and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Specific requirements, someone with an understanding of Multiple Sclerosis. MUST like dogs as there is a dog in the home.

Hours of work:
5 hours per week - Wednesdays
Rate of pay:
£11.44 per hour
