Job summary
We are looking to recruit a clerical and Administrative support to join our Plastic surgery Trauma Team at Derriford.
To provide data collection for the purpose of audit and reporting the effectiveness of the services
To extract and collate data required for the mandatory collection of burns to external organisations.
Specifically data collection to comply with IBID mandatory collection.
Working in a number of clinical areas within UHPNT including ED, Lynher ward, paediatrics, outpatient services.
Validation of audit data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Administration for follow up clinics and cover leave for the clerical officer at the front desk in Plastic surgery trauma clinic.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
Main duties of the job
To provide clerical and administrative support in the appointed area within the Service Line ensuring strict compliance with Trust policies and procedures
To act as a key member of the clinical team collecting data for burns.
To advise and support the clinicians in the development of safe and effective burns and plastic reconstructive surgery care pathways by way of data collection and audit
To manage follow up planned clinics
