Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the construction and fit-out industry. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing initial project budgets and cash flow forecasts in consultation with the commercial and project managers.
Providing accurate estimates with practical solutions that will maximise the probability of securing the contract
Regular liaison with clients, consultants, project and operations management, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
Updating the internal database system with specific client and project details
Full preparation of the final estimate
Preparing and issuing live project variation costs in conjunction with the projects department
Assist with job card charges
Qualifications and Skills:
Has held a similar role including the management of multiple live projects.
Will have a demonstrable track record working for a Design and Build Contractor with project values up to £5m
Degree educated and MRICS or equivalent.
Have working knowledge of JCT D&B and NEC3 forms or contract and procedures
