Business Development Manager - Harrogate - £50k - £70k + company car + bonus + excellent benefits
Our client is a well-established supplier of workwear, uniform and PPE solutions based near Harrogate. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and onboard new customers through proactive lead generation and strategic outreach.
2. Develop and execute a field-based sales strategy, spending 3 to 4 days per week meeting potential clients face-to-face.
3. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.
4. Conduct thorough fact-finding and discovery meetings to provide tailored solutions that address client needs.
5. Deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
6. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client experiences.
7. Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions within the CRM system.
Requirements:
1. A proven track record in business development or field sales, with demonstrable success in acquiring new clients and achieving targets.
2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions effectively.
4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy schedule efficiently.
5. The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
