In this dynamic and client-facing role, you will take ownership of all food and beverage service delivery, leading a high-performing front-of-house team to execute premium events, private functions, and corporate meetings.With a sharp focus on operational excellence, you'll ensure events are delivered to the highest standards - on time, within budget, and in line with agreed packages. You'll work in close partnership with the Fulham Pier Sales and Events Planning teams to bring clients' visions to life, while maximising profitability through cost-effective staffing, rigorous stock control, and consistent adherence to licensing and compliance standards.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for service, a talent for leadership, and a drive to create memorable guest experiences in a prestigious venue.What You'll DoLead the day-to-day operational delivery of conferences, corporate events, and match day functions with a focus on premium catering and guest service.Work collaboratively with the Fulham Pier Events and Sales teams to translate client briefs into seamless, high-quality event executions.Brief, support and lead FOH teams to ensure consistency in service delivery, presentation, and customer care across all events.Oversee all elements of food and beverage service - including bars, receptions, and plated dining - ensuring adherence to agreed service standards and packages.Monitor and manage event stock levels, ensuring accuracy in reporting, minimising wastage, and investigating discrepancies where necessary.Ensure all event spaces are set up to specification, with clear attention to layout, aesthetics, and cleanliness ahead of guest arrival.Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients during events, managing expectations and addressing feedback in real-time to enhance satisfaction.Provide structured on-the-job training and development to hospitality staff, covering service standards, health & safety, licensing, kitchen/venue familiarisation, and emergency procedures.Proactively escalate maintenance or safety issues to the Operations Director and ensure compliance with all statutory and company policies.What We're Looking For:Significant experience in managing high-end event operations, ideally within a large-scale venue or conference and banqueting environment.Strong background in catering and food service, with a deep understanding of event catering logistics and client service delivery.A confident and capable leader, able to inspire, coach, and manage diverse FOH teams in a fast-paced, customer-driven setting.Commercially aware with a keen eye for detail, cost control, and stock management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to client engagement and complaint resolution.Sound knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene, licensing, and COSHH regulations.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and match days as required.Ready to be part of something greater?
