ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinates with accounting on monthly end financial close to produce the monthly finance committee reports.
2. Decision support on service lines and production of pro formas.
3. Assists in developing and monitoring monthly departmental actual and budget analysis.
4. Works alongside revenue cycle to analyze certain payer trends.
5. Development of financial models that estimate the impact of future financial events on OSS Health’s financial statements.
6. Assists with operating budgets to include volumes, revenues and department expenses, capital budgets.
7. Works with Hospital Leadership to analyze monthly variances and identifies corrective action plans.
8. Performs financial analysis as assigned.
9. Assists with year-end audit on an as needed basis.
10. Develops new reports in UKG Pro BI to assist in Payroll/HR analysis.
11. Completes financial and operational surveys.
12. Serves as a resource to internal customers throughout OSS Health regarding financial reports, processes and principles.
13. Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct reports.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be proficient in the English language, both verbally and written, in order to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, vendors, and the general public.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Long periods of sitting, may require bending and stooping. Frequently works under pressure to meet financial deadlines. It is essential to have the ability to respond quickly to environmental changes to meet the organizations’ financial objectives.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Climate controlled environment with occasional periods of being outside.
Potential for Hybrid work model.
