We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are eager to support pupils with diverse needs in a range of educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEN, fostering their academic and personal development.
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored strategies to meet each pupil's unique needs.
- Use communication tools such as Makaton, PECS, or other methods to support students where needed.
- Promote social and emotional well-being, ensuring pupils feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and SENCOs to monitor and report on pupil progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
- Understanding of SEN strategies and techniques to support children with autism, ADHD, or other learning needs.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various schools and settings.
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
