The Role: -Provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 1, adapting learning activities to meet their needs. -Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans. -Use strategies to encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in learning. -Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment within the classroom. -Support the pupil’s social, emotional, and academic development. The Ideal Candidate: ✔ Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). ✔ Has experience supporting children with additional needs, preferably in EYFS or KS1. ✔ Is patient, compassionate, and adaptable, with a child-centred approach. ✔ Can work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals. ✔ Is committed to making a difference in a child's learning journey.
