For more detail about the main duties of this role, please see the job description section below. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
This role entails supporting the Acute Oncology team with telephone triage of patients who contact the service with symptoms and side effects of their cancer or systemic anti-cancer treatment. This will include assisting the team with managing patients who come in for face-to-face assessments, enhancing the clinical skills of venepuncture and cannulation.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver first-class care to cancer patients and learn more about the varied and interesting arena of cancer care.
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm including weekends and bank holidays.
