This is a Hybrid role, the Quality Assurance team work from our Cardiff Office 3 days per week. Please note, your first 3 months will be 5 days a week whilst you carry out training. You will need to be within a commutable distance from the Cardiff Office.
Quality Assurance Officer at Capital on Tap
The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for keeping our Financial Crime team and controls effective, without compromising customer experience.
You will conduct regular quality checks against the performance of our team and the operation of our procedures, providing ongoing feedback and training.
* Conduct regular reviews on onboarding rules, customer screening and actions taken by the FinCrime team.
* Conduct regular reviews on monitoring alerts, periodic reviews and actions taken by the FinCrime investigations team.
* Provide ongoing feedback and monitor the progress of team members against performance metrics.
* Identify training gaps and provide structured training to promote growth and development within the FinCrime team.
* Develop and build out quality assurance processes across our FinCrime function, against high internal and regulatory standards.
* Use our QA data to bring continuous improvement to our policies, procedures, and training.
We’re Looking For Required skills:
* Prior experience in a QA or trainer-related role.
* Experience making independent risk-based judgements on fraud or AML investigations.
* Strong understanding of Financial Crime regulations, responsibilities, and risks faced by Capital on Tap.
* You suggest improvements where you see them, and ask questions where you have them.
* Ability to communicate feedback effectively to team members, and build action plans to help drive their progress.
* A critical eye and strong attention to detail. You enjoy working efficiently and in a demanding, high volume environment.

Interview Process
First stage: 30 minute Google Meet interview with a Talent Partner to assess Values.
Final Stage: 60 minutes CV overview with hiring manager in person. Then you'll meet with some of the team to assess team fit, 30 minutes.
