Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join Padiham Group Practice. The practice has an excellent reputation as a friendly, hardworking and high achieving accredited training practice. The practice have been rated Good by CQC, with consistent, positive GP experience on the patient survey results which demonstrate the strong patient centred customer focus and efficiency of the teams. This is a permanent position of up to 30/36 hours per week. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Main duties of the job We are currently looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our clinical team. We are looking to employ and ANP or ACP for four days with the following: Masters degree level in the relevant area of expertise; Working at a masters level aware or equivalent that encompasses the four pillars of clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competencies For Advanced Nurse Practitioner have either graduated from a Centre for Advancing Practice accredited MSc advanced practice programme or completed the Centres ePortfolio (supported) Route; both pathways enable eligibility for an Advanced digital badge issued by the Centre, demonstrating recognised educational and experiential preparation in advanced practice Assess and triage patients, including same day triage, and as appropriate provide definitive treatment You will be responsible for the clinical assessment, treatment and or referral or giving advice as appropriate to both adults and children presenting with a wide spectrum of clinical conditions Manage undifferentiated undiagnosed condition and identify red flags and underlying serious pathology and take appropriate action Use complex decision making to inform the diagnosis, investigation, complete management of episodes of care within a broad scope of practice About us At Padiham Group Practice, our patient and staff are at the centre of everything we do.
