We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher with a specialism in Early Years Education to join a welcoming Reception class at a well-regarded "Good" school within the Blackburn area. This position is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about fostering a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Reception class, implementing a creative and child-centered curriculum that supports each child's development.
2. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and curiosity.
3. Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met.
4. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and achievements.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Early Years.
2. Experience: Previous experience teaching Early Years or Reception is highly desirable, though ECTs with relevant Early Years training are welcome to apply.
3. Skills: Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for early childhood education.
