Role
Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre (LRCC) is an independent charity established in 2004, aimed at relieving the distress and improving the welfare of women and girls who have experienced sexual violence. LRCC collaborates with 17 Rape Crisis Centres across Scotland that adhere to National Service Standards.
The National Lottery Community Fund, Improving Lives - Young Persons Project 2025-2027: LRCC has received funding for a 3-year Young Survivors Project, which will provide a dedicated Young Survivors Support Service and establish a Young People Reference Group. This service will offer individual and peer support options to aid recovery from sexual violence or abuse and create a platform for young people to amplify their voices and participate in gender-based violence prevention efforts.
Purpose of Job: To deliver specialist therapeutic support and information services to young survivors aged 12+ affected by sexual violence, at our main premises, outreach locations across Lanarkshire, and via virtual methods.
