Senior Manager position in the high-performing Financial Reporting Team. Reporting directly into the Head of Reporting.
The team is a key part of Finance & Strategy in VMO2, with ultimate responsibility for the compliance, integrity, and accuracy of reported financial results of VMO2. We provide clarity, insight, and partner with a wide range of teams across F&S (IR, Treasury, Legal & FP&A) as well as directly working with our Shareholders LG & Telefonica. This can mean varied and unexpected work such as helping with regulatory, M&A, or debt refinancing requests at short notice, so an individual joining the team should be comfortable with an agile working environment and embrace new opportunities for growth and development.
As the Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you are directly involved in ensuring we have compliant, accurate, and understandable consolidated figures under both IFRS & US GAAP across all primary statements, including the cash flow statement. This work will involve review as well as granular task execution, including Journal review and preparation and updating detail in our large external statutory filings, both Company and Annual Reports.
We strive for a "Can Do" team environment where everyone can pitch in, and work can be quickly moved around as needed. While you will have direct areas of ownership, you'll be expected to be comfortable with change and be happy to be involved in all areas of external reporting as vital. We don't expect everyone to know everything, but the Senior Manager needs to be a driven individual that is happy to learn and contribute in whatever way is vital to the team's goal of producing high-quality accurate financial information while improving our processes, making us fit for the future. You'll also be required to guide and mentor the broader team, fostering the development of junior members while ensuring the maintenance of team morale.
Overall, this is a great opportunity to join a highly visible team that has real responsibility and impact at VMO2.
