We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to become the newest member of the family at The Hare & Hounds, Speen, Newbury. RG14 0QY.
As the General Manager, you will be working for one of our flagship sites, developing our current team and assisting with the recruitment of new staff, whilst delivering high volume sales through proactive innovation and events.
Working closely with the Head Chef and Directors, you will ensure the success of the pub through strong and enthusiastic leadership, whilst developing, managing, and motivating teams.
You will lead and evolve the operational standards as well as exceed commercial expectations through a clear understanding of GP, P&L, and labour costs.

* Successful leadership experience motivating and developing others, creating and shaping a team, retaining people, and increasing team morale.
* You will be independent and self-sufficient, confident in making clear business decisions and delivering a structured plan in a fast-paced commercial restaurant environment.
* Ambition and drive, being standards driven to achieve all operational standards and commercial targets.
* A passion for great food and drink, expressing real enthusiasm and love for the fresh food and the array of drinks we offer.
* A customer-focused mindset.

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
