We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Essex.
You will be responsible for selling services for air freight, sea freight and road freight.
Responsibilities;
* Responsible for sourcing your own business leads
* Generating new sales for all modes of transport
* Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders
Skills Required;
* Strong sales experience within the freight forwarding industry
* Experience selling sea, air and road freight
* Global freight forwarding experience
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Good attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
