Job Title: 2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Maldon, Essex
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Are you a skilled IT professional with 5+ years’ experience and expertise in Microsoft technologies? My client are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer. You’ll resolve technical challenges, perform server upgrades, and contribute to key IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve 2nd line support issues and manage escalations.
* Plan and execute server upgrades and system improvements.
* Maintain and administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
* Troubleshoot networks and support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
* Collaborate with the team to ensure system security, performance, and compliance.
Requirements:
* 5+ years in IT support, with in-depth Microsoft expertise.
* Strong knowledge of networking, server upgrades, and virtualization.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA) are a plus.
