We are seeking to appoint an efficient school admin assistant with excellent administration experience.
This is a full time position available to start immediately from Monday to Friday and working hours will be 8:00 am-16:00pm.
This is an oversubscribed, friendly, fully comprehensive school located in Newham. Attitude to learning scores across all their students are "very good to excellent". Work-life balance is of the utmost importance to them.

Main responsibilities for this role:
8. To be responsible for maintaining the student database for all admissions, main school and nursery, with excellent knowledge and experience of SIMs
9. To provide administrative support, e.g. photocopying, typing and collation of pupils files
10. To administer first aid (a first aid certificate is desirable but training can be provided)
11. Ability to undertake reception and telephone duties, answering enquiries from staff, pupils, parents and the general public in a calm and professional manner
12. Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, booking rooms and event planning
13. To work with the Admissions Coordinator in planning, organising and delivering successful admissions events, this includes creating tickets
14. To ensure the receipt and processing of complete and valid documentations
Required Skills:
15. Relevant experience in a school environment with 2 recent professional references
16. Eligibility to work in the UK
17. An enhanced DBS on the update service
18. Experience about Microsoft Office and Suite
19. Strong verbal and written communication skills
20. Ability to multitask and prioritise things without assistance
21. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
22. Punctual and has a solid track record of attendance
23. 2 recent professional references
