As our Assistant Operations Manager - Meetings & Events you will…
* Prepare and implement the minimum standards of performance for all service activities within the M & E department.
* Co-ordinate the activities of all staff under his/her control ensuring that all areas are presented to the agreed standard.
* Ensure that all food and drink served is properly documented and charged as per Company Policy.
* Liaise with the Head Chef to ensure that all staff are fully briefed on menu content and order of service prior to events.
* Co-ordinate all meetings & events, ensuring that clients are given the correct guidance and information at each stage of organising their event and details are documented accordingly.
* Prepare all meetings & events rooms in accordance with the weekly function sheets to the pre-determined standards set by the Company.
* Along with the Duty Manager, ensure that all incoming meetings & events are greeted on arrival and receive a welcome letter, a copy of their contract together with a questionnaire for their completion.
