Main purpose of role: You will be delivering the CPCAB Level 4 Integrative Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. This will involve leading the theory discussions, assessing student’s counselling skills, providing group supervision, facilitating personal development process groups, and regular marking of homework. You will also sign off their final portfolio at the end of the course and ensure learners are prepared for the external assessment. Familiarity with a variety of counselling approaches will be advantageous for this role, with an understanding of Petruska Clarkson’s integrative relational model essential. Applicants need to have: 420 hours therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above (e.g. TC-L4) 10 hours of personal therapy Member of a professional association for counselling or psychotherapy (e.g. BACP) 30 hours per year CPD activities Current supervised counselling practice with a minimum of 2 years post-qualifying (e.g. TC-L4) practice experience. Supervision qualification and 1 year experience of providing supervision to groups or individuals in a counselling setting Teaching qualification Minimum 2 year teaching and assessing CPCAB courses at level 2 AND 3 or above (e.g. CSK-L2 & CST-L3).
