Please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any time should it be filled via the internal redeployment process Job Overview An opportunity has arisen for a part time Band 3 Physiotherapy Support Worker to join our inpatient physiotherapy team at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny. We are seeking a strong team player with excellent communication skills, displaying the ability to effectively manage time and priorities. You will be based on the medical wards and will work closely with the team of physiotherapists providing rehabilitation for patients during their inpatient stay, optimising their functional recovery. Main duties of the job The post is predominantly clinical, however there will be an element of non-clinical duties attached to your role. This will include supporting with audits, basic administration and housekeeping duties, stock taking, and using computer based systems i.e. ordering of walking aids. The Physiotherapy Service encourages staff development; you will be supported to complete the Agored Level 3 Diploma In Physiotherapy Support, which will enable you to manage your own designated caseload, delivering interventions under the supervision of a Physiotherapist.
