We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Dual Registered Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support within our children's home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and management, with a particular focus on supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This role is crucial in ensuring that every child receives the highest standard of care in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can thrive. All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Managerial position and can demonstrate strong leaderships skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practices. Lead and support a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and child-centred care. Develop, implement, and regularly review individual care plans, ensuring children’s needs are met with compassion and consistency. Ensure the emotional, social, and educational well-being of children, providing a structured and supportive environment. Maintain accurate records and reports related to children's progress, safeguarding, and staff performance. Work closely with families, social workers, schools, and external agencies to create the best possible support network for each child. Provide leadership in staff training and development, ensuring the team is equipped to meet the needs of children in their care. Skills & Experience Proven experience in a managerial role within a children’s residential home ideally with multi-site experience Strong understanding of EBD care and experience in supporting children with complex emotional needs. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a dedicated team. Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement with children, staff, families, and professionals. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding. A child-focused and compassionate approach, committed to improving the lives of young people.
