We are looking for an assertive Counter Fraud Intelligence Lead to join our team.
In this role, you will lead an Intelligence Team, support ongoing investigations, and contribute to the production of intelligence products that inform decision-making. You will support the Counter Fraud department in achieving key objectives to prevent and detect fraud by effectively managing internal and industry intelligence within ongoing claims and policies.
You will be part of a growing Counter Fraud department with an entrepreneurial spirit. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to generate ideas to shape processes and procedures within the department.
What will I be doing?
* Actively leading a team of intelligence analysts to effectively ingest and develop credible intelligence data from various sources to identify internal fraud exposure within our claims and policy areas
* Identifying focused intelligence and ensuring data is properly prioritised, leading to better and more targeted outcomes
* Ensuring compliance with national standards and relevant legislation
* Leading and guiding a team of intelligence analysts, providing mentoring, coaching, and support to maximise their development, efficiency, and morale.
* Collaborating with Intelligence Analysts, Claims and Policy Validation Teams, and our partners to achieve key objectives
* Constantly striving to evolve the way we utilise, store, and distribute intelligence to stay ahead of the latest fraud trends
* Reviewing and providing feedback on analysis resulting from new technologies to ensure optimised functionality and best outcomes
* Effectively ingest intelligence data from various sources to identify internal fraud exposure within ongoing claims and policies
* Serving as a lead referral point and engage with internal stakeholders, external companies, and intelligence agencies to identify cross-industry fraud exposure
* Identifying, planning, and using intelligence resources as needed to ensure operational effectiveness
What do I need?
* Experience in a Counter Fraud role within the insurance industry, preferably as an Intelligence Analyst or in a similar position is desirable
* Knowledge of the evolving landscape of insurance fraud and strategies to combat it using intelligence
* Strong technical expertise and the creativity to generate innovative ideas
* Keen attention to detail with the ability to interpret diverse datasets
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Desirable knowledge of SQL
* Proven ability to evaluate and shape processes and procedures to meet business needs
* Experience and knowledge of SIRA counter fraud systems would be desirable
