Let us introduce the role AWE is currently recruiting for an IT Manager for the Enterprise Applications group. We are looking to recruit an experienced IT Manager to deliver product ownership for applications and ITSM services, roadmaps, supporting Service Management and overall Operational Service delivery, including strategic direction in line with AWE's Business plan and mission. Key Accountabilities: Act as the product owner for designated applications, accountable for the continued development of roadmaps aligned to business and strategic requirements. Ensure the functional capabilities of designated applications are developed and exploited to deliver an effective, efficient, and proactive approach to application product ownership. Manage the day-to-day sustainment of applications, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training and quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets, and service levels are met, and results delivered. Responsible for agreeing an upgrade roadmap with the Supplier for each of the Group B applications. The roadmap shall be used to agree a schedule of releases allowing the business to effectively plan and ensure that the roadmap for Group B applications maintains applications to N-2 Who are we looking for? We do need you to have the following: Supervisory, leadership and performance management skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations, communicate effectively across teams, and present to senior leadership. Knowledge of ITSM tools. Proven experience in IT service management or a similar role. Proven experience in IT service management or a similar role. Experience of managing application roadmaps and application upgrades Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: Relevant certifications in ITIL, Service Management, or Project Management (such as ITIL Foundation, PMP, or PRINCE2). Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring multiple client projects concurrently. Experience with helpdesk management tools, project management software, and performance monitoring systems. You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload.
