Working in a team of three, we have an opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to join our team here at KGS. Ideally with previous experience in a school or education setting, you will provide an effective and responsive service, ensuring the cleanliness, appearance and security of the school site are maintained to the highest standard.
The core responsibilities of the role include the day-to-day maintenance of the school buildings, grounds and equipment. You will also work with external contractors for both emergency and routine matters and coordinate school and external events. You will also be required to carry out risk assessments and maintain inspection records of all caretaking tasks.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, on a rotating shift pattern, with 25 days’ holiday (rising to 27 days after 5 years’ service). In addition, there is also the opportunity to work significant overtime hours. Free school lunches are available during term time.
Salary: Circa £27,000 depending on experience. There will also be significant overtime opportunities.
