MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Large Public Sector Organisation in their search to add a Health and Safety Advisor to the team.
The Role:
* Assist in the management and delivery of operational Corporate Health and Safety objectives, and implement programmes for promoting health, safety and wellbeing.
* Responsible to the Health and Safety Manager for providing advice and guidance to line management and staff in respect of compliance with health and safety legislation, policy and procedures and safe working practices.
* Participate in a planned programme of regular inspections and audit of organisation premises to advise on all general health and safety matters, in liaison with other internal or external inspecting or regulatory bodies.
The Person:
* Degree Qualified in Health and Safety and Posses NEBOSH + 2 years professional experience.
OR
* 4 years experience in a Health and Safety Officer role (or higher).
* Full Drivers License and access to means of transport.
