The role – Production / Operations Manager You will have a challenging, variable and highly rewarding role leading and managing sitewide operational and maintenance activities to ensue the highest levels of product manufacture and to meet all company, client and industry / regulatory requirements. Your role duties and responsibilities will include; Leading and managing all operational activities to ensure the highest standards of products are delivered at all times Leading and managing all operational activities to meet company targets in relation to quality, delivery and cost Working closely with the organisational Lean Specialist and all associated stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement across all areas of production / manufacturing Recruitment, mentoring and development of Team Leaders and respective teams of manufacturing and engineering staff Manage and control materials supply ensuring consistent availability to meet all operational requirements Ensure the highest standards of work environment and health and safety is maintained at all times Ideally Diploma or Degree qualified, you will have an in-depth background and experience managing all areas of operations / production and maintenance within a high-volume fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be a natural people leader and have led and supported lean / continuous improvement activities across all areas of company manufacture. Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have excellent customer facing experience providing sound advice at all stages of product development and manufacture.
