Join CGI as an EUC Engineer, supporting our exciting, high-profile client base in Milton Keynes.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Working for CGI, onsite at one of our automotive clients our EUC Engineers are responsible for monitoring and responding to incidents, catalogue task and problem tickets. You will become part of a dynamic team responsible for the onsite IT requirements and the day-to-day delivery of service from CGI.
Key Tasks:
• Monitoring and responding to Help desk incidents and Work Orders and requests to meet SLA’s
• Troubleshooting and investigating technical incidents through to resolution
• Configuration, deployment, and support of end user hardware (laptops, desktops, Mobile phones etc.)
• Performing daily system checks.
• Updating Config Management/ CI database
• Maintenance and creation of technical documentation as required
• Responding to client support requests.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
• Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
• Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
• Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
• Providing basic training in computer operation and management.
• Completion of IMAC requests
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Demonstrable experience within a digital workplace or end-user environment.
• Ability to repair and to fault find
• Attention to detail will be key
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Wide variation of technical awareness
• Adaptable style to be able to get and convey the right information.
• IT Service Management system/ Service Now
• Windows 10 Support and Exchange
• Office
• Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
• Experience of working with End user devices to understand the basic principles of PC architecture.
• Previous knowledge or use of ServiceNow, SCCM, MEMC is desirable
