Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment while ensuring high standards of customer service. The Electrical Technician will work closely with various teams to ensure that all electrical systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain and service logic controllers and other electronic devices.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment as required.
Qualifications
• Educated to City & Guild or SVQ Level 3 (Electrical) and be a time-served electrician.
• Must be trained to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Must have of held a similar role within an Industrial Environment post qualification.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding integrated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related fields are desirable.
