We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our team in UK. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s information technology systems, networks, and infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure the security, efficiency, and effectiveness of IT operations. Candidate will be part of the team to ensure assistance by addressing technical challenges, optimizing workflows, and supporting the integration of IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Network Administration: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Technical Support: Provide helpdesk service to end users by diagnosing hardware and software issues on Windows® 10/11 OS, resolving problems, and offering solutions. System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain clients, servers and software applications including the IFS cloud based ERP solution in performing regular system updates and backups. Design, implementation and maintenance of other basic core systems (e.g. Phones, access control, video surveillance, video conference…). Security Management: Monitor network security, implement security policies and tools and troubleshoot security issues working with central Team. Ensure systems compliance with data protection regulations. Software and Hardware Management: Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software. Ensure that all devices are up to date and running smoothly. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technical needs and provide tailored IT solutions. Collaborate with senior management to develop IT strategies that support business objectives. Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, troubleshooting procedures, and inventory of hardware/software assets. Project Management: Assist in IT projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry segment or similar. Strong knowledge of computer networks, operating systems and hardware configurations in Microsoft® environment. Knowledge of IT at enterprise level, including distributed DCs, AD users and computers management, SCCM imaging and software packaging and distribution. Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, antivirus, monitoring systems, firewalls, and data protection. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage change and adapt to evolving business needs.
