They are renowned for delivering high-quality solutions to their clients, and they are now looking to expand their team with a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator. Job Overview: We are seeking a versatile and motivated Welder/Fabricator for our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MIG welding and be proficient in various fabrication techniques, with the ability to read technical drawings, measure, cut, and assemble metal components. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to technical drawings and specifications. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish. Operate welding machinery and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all welds meet industry standards. Repair or modify existing metal structures and components as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Provide solutions to welding and fabrication challenges that arise during the production process. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in MIG welding (essential). Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with other welding methods (TIG, MMA) is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude. Valid driving licence (preferred but not essential). Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a similar welding/fabrication role. Familiarity with welding safety standards and best practices.
