Job Duties:
* Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Support students in class and during activities
* Help students with their learning and personal care needs
* Work closely with teachers to ensure the educational needs of students are met
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent
Education:
Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Experience:
Prior experience working with children with SEN is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN and different learning needs
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Working Conditions:
* Work in a classroom setting within a school
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
* Potential for additional training and development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
