Title: Workshop Fabricator
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm
Salary: £16.30ph
Location: Ferrybridge
Role: Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful Workshop Fabricator to work for an engineering manufacturer. Due to a steady increase in orders, they are now looking to recruit and bolster their welding and fabrication teams where duties will include:
1. Set up of equipment to work on a range of materials
2. Welding and fabrication to high standards of specifications
3. Working with electrical grinders and hand tools
4. Welding skills
5. Apprentice trained
6. Experience in the structural heavy steel industry
7. Bending, cutting, and all aspects of fabrication
It is expected that the successful Fabricator/Welder will have experience of working in a Fabrication or Welding role previously and:
1. Be qualified to City & Guilds in welding and fabrication or equivalent
2. Be apprentice trained or time served
3. Have experience of both Mig and Tig welding on both mild and stainless steels
4. Have experience in fabricating with mild and stainless steels
5. Be competent in working with hand tools, including electrical grinders and electric drills
6. Understand engineering drawings
7. Hold a full UK licence
