Job Purpose Cyd Innovation is seeking a Sustainability and Social Value Manager. This role involves promoting good social value management practices and, as well as developing, delivering and reporting on Cyd Innovation’s sustainability and social value action plans, working with clients to develop, manage and scrutinise their social value projects. You will also support the Business Development Manager with the development of new tender submissions. You will need to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and have an understanding of social value requirements within public sector contracts and social value reporting systems. To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator across multiple channels with strong project management skills. Key Responsibilities • Strategy & Action Planning: Successful establishment and delivery of action plans to fully achieve all company and project KPIs/Commitments/Measures relating to social value and sustainability. • Training & promotion: Work with project teams to ensure plans are developed, integrated and successfully delivered within each function. Development and delivery of workshops and training with functions and project teams to ensure understanding of all social value KPIs/requirements and reporting procedures. • Development of processes and procedures: Ensure accurate and timely submission of all performance data and ensure objectives do not enter amber or red status. • Sustainability reporting: Support the team with environmental reporting including supporting accreditation renewals such as B-Corp, decarbonisation reports and improvement planning. • Verification and Reporting: Obtaining evidence of activities, verifying data, managing clarifications and developing high quality reports for internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors. • CRM: Take a leading role in managing client and external stakeholder relationships. • Social Value budget management: Manage our social value and sustainability budgets and subscriptions. • Partnership working: Actively identify and contribute to social value professional networks as part of our work to promote and develop good practice.
