Who You Are As a Gardener, you will have extensive experience in horticulture, supported by an NVQ 3 in amenity horticulture or equivalent. You possess both a current full driving licence and ideally a HGV licence. You have knowledge of modern horticultural practices and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Flexibility, good interpersonal skills, and physical fitness are crucial for managing varied work demands effectively. What the Job Involves Your role includes performing a broad range of skilled gardening duties across public parks and open spaces. Tasks include grass cutting, hedge trimming, flowerbed maintenance, and more. You will manage the cleansing of areas, apply pesticides, and operate various powered tools and equipment, including potentially driving a vehicle. Adhering to health and safety regulations and supporting trainees are important components of the job. You will establish positive working relationships and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
