Position: Executive Assistant & Governance Officer
Location: Huish Episcopi Academy
Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon to Fri, 8.30am - 4.30pm
Contract: 42 weeks per year (39 weeks term time + 3 additional weeks)
Salary: £25,415 - £27,669 (Actual) / £27,351 - £29,777 (FTE)

Key Responsibilities:
* Confidential Support: Provide efficient administrative support to the Principal, handling sensitive information with discretion.
* Meeting Coordination: Organise meetings for the Senior Leadership Team, including agendas, minutes, and hospitality arrangements.
* Diary Management: Manage the Principal’s and SLT’s diaries and emails.
* Document Preparation: Draft and distribute various documents, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
* Communication & Hospitality: Manage phone calls, welcome visitors, and arrange travel and accommodation for the Principal.
* Governance Support: Assist the Chair of Governors and Principal with administrative duties for the Local Governing Body.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or higher), NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Experience: Proven experience in high-level administrative support, excellent customer service, and minute-taking.
* Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
