Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual with expertise in water treatment principles, including physical and chemical processes. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team that provides technical specifications and support for temporary water treatment systems used in construction, municipal, and industrial applications. As a Technical Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their challenges, assist the internal sales team in quoting new projects, and collaborate with the operations team to deliver and optimize water treatment systems.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Customer Interaction (30%): Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, specify appropriate water treatment solutions, and coordinate with external laboratories, water authorities, and suppliers.
* Regulatory Guidance (20%): Advise clients on relevant regulations and best practices for their water management plans.
* Water Quality Analysis (20%): Analyze water quality data, conduct chemical jar tests, and evaluate hydro-chemical characteristics to recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
* Sales Support (20%): Provide technical specifications to the internal sales team to assist with project quotations.
* Operational Support (10%): Assist operations teams with chemical dosing and optimization on live projects.
Technical & Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of water treatment methodologies (physical and chemical processes)
* Experience with chemical jar testing (preferred)
* Knowledge of sales processes (desired)
