Position Overview:
Are you passionate about working with children and have a background in coaching? Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a coaching background to join our team as a Primary Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills in motivating, mentoring, and supporting students to the classroom, helping them achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the primary teacher in planning and delivering lessons, activities, and classroom management.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help in various subjects.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment by supporting students’ social and emotional development.
* Use coaching techniques to inspire and encourage students to build confidence and resilience.
* Help supervise students during lunchtime, recess, and other extracurricular activities.
* Support students with physical activities, including sports or outdoor play, promoting teamwork and physical development.
* Assist with classroom resources, organization, and administration tasks.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in coaching (sports, youth development, etc.) or a related field.
* A passion for working with children and helping them develop academically and personally.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Patient, empathetic, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
* A background in education or a related field is a plus but not required.
* Relevant certifications in coaching or child development are preferred.
