As an EHC Plan Writer, you will be tasked with gathering information from various stakeholders, synthesizing data to create thorough and accurate plans, and monitoring the effectiveness of these plans over time. Responsibilities
Develop and write comprehensive EHC plans for children and young people based on thorough assessments and stakeholder input.
Collaborate with families, educational institutions, and health professionals to gather necessary information.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, guidance, and policies pertaining to EHC plans.
Review and update existing EHC plans to reflect changes in circumstances or needs of the individuals.
Monitor the effectiveness of plans and make necessary adjustments in collaboration with stakeholders.
Provide support and guidance to families navigating the EHC planning process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Participate in training and workshops to stay informed about best practices and changes in legislation related to EHC plans.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related field.
Proven experience in writing or developing EHC plans or similar documents.
Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) legislation and frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable plans.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Empathy and a commitment to advocacy for children and young people with special educational needs.
Hours Per Week: 22.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Rate: £173.25
Location: Tower Hill, Central London
